Creative World Awards ~ Prelim Finalist

Kinda cool. Not sure how many rounds TSD will stick around for, but it’s nice to show up on the boards now and then.

Visit http://www.creativeworldawards.com/index.php for updates. Maybe they’ll post the list there?

Next up… the Quarterfinalists. Bring ’em on, baby!

Dear Writers:

After careful deliberation, we are very excited to announce the Preliminary Finalists for the 2009 Creative World Awards.  We want to extend our sincere thanks to each of you that participated in the contest this year.  We are continually amazed at your dedication and commitment to pursuing and developing your skill, and encourage you to continue down that path whether you made the list this year or not.

With just over 2000 entries this year, it was extremely difficult narrowing down the list with so many strong considers. Many scripts received high marks this year due to the high level of quality work submitted. With that said, the Prelim Finalists are listed below, which includes the Top 75 in each of the 4 genre categories.  These scripts will now go on to compete for the Quarterfinalist round next week. Be sure to check out the CWA website for updates and also our upcoming interview with Author and Story Consultant, Michael Hague.

Thank you again for taking part in the awards this year. It is a pleasure working with you, and we look forward to staying in touch as we continue to release the year-end results in the weeks ahead.
Sincerely,

Heather & Marlene
