Shal’duntuk, Maknaki Demon Warrior

As portrayed by Jessica Marshall-Gardiner.

Sing it. “Who ya gonna call? Shal’duntuk!”

Just a few pics from today’s shoot. Lots of fun. Jessica was quite the sport: chocolate sauce, fake blood, charcoal war paint, strands of hair lost to masking tape … all in a day’s work. Can’t wait to do it again in a proper studio and with our trusty DP John Tulin around. :)

More soon. Stay tuned!

  1. Miranda Gardiner Says:

    I can’t wait to see more…what a great title and lead actress you have…a good start…break a leg…

  2. Cool stuff. Here’s a link to a native american horror character design I did for a film called “Pocahauntus”.

    Interestingly similar.

  3. Chip, I remember seeing those designs you did which were really cool, but were not fresh in my memory when this costume came together. Good to know I was in the “Native American” ballpark: feathers, leather, and a rustic feel. I like the cut of the wrap around her waist and legs on your sketch. ~ Jeff

  4. No intention to infer any different! :) Just thought it was cool that there were similarities – particularly the aggressive facepaint. They didn’t actually end up using my designs, BTW. They wanted “sexier”. Think they went with a leather bikini.

    I like your shots!

  5. What’s up mates, pleasant paragraph and good urging commented at this place, I am actually enjoying by these.
